Title:Introduction to Thompson’s group
Abstract： In this talk, I will introduce Thompson’s groups F, T and V. I will give a tree diagram model to present an element in the group and use this to prove many classical results of Thompson’s group. I will also talk about some generalizations of Thompson’s group and properties of such groups.
